  1. They found regional brain blood flow of a part of the brain believed to be highly associated with pain processing, the thalamus, was abnormal in fibromyalgia patients compared with the blood flow in this brain structure in non-fibromyalgia patients fatigue syndrome

    1. I am loving learning about the brain. I know that for me, there are times the front of my brain feels so heavy that I can't think. Which really impedes writing. What I'm learning about meditation and the shrinking of the amygdala is facinating. I truly believe that if I can get my nervous system to calm down, I'll be able to function decently.
